Long oil alkyd resin
DESCRIPTION
AGSL70V is an air drying long oil alkyd resin based on soya bean fatty acid. It provides a very clear varnish. It presents a good gloss retention, a good durability, a good color stability, a good wettability, a good high-build, a sufficient spread, a good brushability as well as a good yellowing and aging resistance.

SOLUBILITY
Good solubility in the following solvents: white spirit, toluene, xylene, turpentine, n-butyle acetate and methyl ethyl ketone.
APPLICATION AREAS
- Paints for wood
- Finish paints (wood, metal, lacquered), white and all colours
- Alkyd resin varnishes
- Marine and metal structures paints.
DRYING
The following driers should be used: 0,08% Co; 0,15% Ca; 0,45% Zr (by weight metal based on solid binder). The addition of an anti-skinning agent such methyl ethyl ketoxime at a rate of 0.2 – 0.3% (based on solid binder) is recommended.
STORAGE AND DURABILITY
Conserver le produit dans les emballages d’origine fermés entre 5 et 30°C, à l’abri des rayons du soleil et de la pluie. Dans ces conditions, le produit peut être conservé une année sans altération notable de ses propriétés.
COMPATIBILITY
Compatible with all chemical products used with binders in paint industry.
